PowerPC Platform

(P-P-C-P)

A specification that was supposed to allow computers with PowerPC CPUs to run the Macintosh, Windows NT, or AIX operating systems. Work on the specification has effectively been dropped. PPCP, by another name, is called the Common Hardware Reference Platform (CHRP).
