Pseudo-Static RAM
(P-S-ram)
A DRAM core with circuitry to keep the core refreshed. When developed, PSRAM was less expensive than SRAM. With SRAM prices dropping PSRAM will be used less and less as SRAM uses less power when not being accessed.
