Bluetooth
Bluetooth is not a dental disease, but a short-range wireless technology. Ideally, using Bluetooth, various devices such as handheld computers, desktop computers, and any other equipped device can communicate when brought close enough together. You might, for example, have your handheld automatically synchronize your schedule with your or your secretary's computer just by entering the same room with the device. Employers could also keep track of employees.
Bluetooth uses radio waves for connection and is therefore more suited for device-to-device communication than infrared links which require line-of-sight.
