Blind Carbon Copy
(B-C-C)
A copy of an E-mail message sent to someone with no record of the other recipients of the message in the headers. BCC is typically used to send to a mailing list where you don't want each member of the list to know who the other members of the list are (or where the list itself would dwarf the message in size).
